COPENHAGEN STAFF – EMPLOYMENT TERMS FOR ON-CALL WORKERS

By creating a profile with Copenhagen Staff ApS via our Monday Form and CRM here and by accepting a shift, you agree to the following employment terms.
These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Copenhagen Staff as an on-call worker.

1. TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT

You are employed as an on-call worker (zero-hour contract).
This means:

  • You are not guaranteed any minimum number of hours

  • You may freely accept or decline any shift offered

  • Copenhagen Staff is not obligated to offer you shifts

  • Employment is flexible and based on demand

There is no notice period.
Either party may end the cooperation at any time.

2. JOB DUTIES

Your tasks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Waiting/service (waiter)

  • Bartending

  • Event setup and breakdown

  • Event staff / hospitality assistant

  • Hotel and restaurant tasks

  • Host / reception support

  • Light service work

Specific tasks and requirements are provided for each shift.

3. WORKING HOURS

Working hours vary depending on client needs.

You will receive shifts through:

  • SMS

  • Phone

  • Email

  • Online scheduling system

By accepting a shift, you commit to attending and completing the assigned shift on time.

4. ATTENDANCE & TIME TRACKING

You must arrive:

  • On time

  • In appropriate clothing

  • At the location specified by Copenhagen Staff or the client

Working hours must be documented as follows:

  • You obtain a signed timesheet from the client at the end of the shift

  • You upload a photo of the timesheet through our system

  • Hours are reviewed and approved by Copenhagen Staff

  • Approved hours are paid on the next scheduled payroll

Missing or incomplete timesheets may result in hours not being approved.

5. COMPENSATION

Your hourly wage follows industry standards for temporary hospitality staff.

Salary is paid:

  • Monthly (last banking day of the month)

  • To your NemKonto

Your salary includes:

  • Holiday pay (12.5%)

  • AM-bidrag (labour market tax, 8%)

  • A-skat or B-skat (income tax, per your tax card)

  • Any supplements agreed for night, weekend, or special duties

6. CANCELLATIONS, LATE ARRIVAL & MISCONDUCT

If you cancel a shift:

  • Cancelling less than 24 hours before shift start may result in temporary deactivation

  • Cancelling less than 4 hours before shift start may result in permanent deactivation

If you do not show up (no-show):

  • You are permanently removed as an active worker

  • No future shifts will be offered

If performance is repeatedly poor:

  • Copenhagen Staff may immediately stop offering shifts

7. WORKPLACE BEHAVIOR

While working at a client location, you represent Copenhagen Staff.
You are expected to:

  • Behave professionally

  • Follow client instructions

  • Follow workplace rules

  • Wear correct uniform/clothing as provided or advised.

  • Maintain a respectful and positive attitude

Client complaints may lead to suspension or removal.

8. HOLIDAY PAY

As an hourly worker, you earn:

  • 12.5% holiday pay based on hours worked

Holiday pay is paid via Feriekonto or directly via payroll, depending on our system.

You have the right to take holiday, but no guarantee of paid leave beyond accrued holiday pay.

9. SICKNESS

If you become sick:

  • You must notify Copenhagen Staff at least 6 hours before your shift

  • You do NOT receive salary during sickness (temporary staff are not entitled to employer-paid sick leave)

10. GDPR & DATA PROTECTION

Copenhagen Staff processes your personal data in accordance with GDPR.

We collect and store:

  • CPR number (for payroll and tax)

  • Name, address, bank account (NemKonto)

  • Contact information

  • Time and shift information

  • Employment-related data

Your data may be shared only with:

  • SKAT (tax authorities)

  • Our payroll provider (Danløn)

  • The client (only relevant contact/shift information)

We never share your data for marketing or unrelated purposes.

11. INSURANCE

While working on an approved shift, you are covered by:

  • Workers’ compensation insurance (arbejdsskadeforsikring)

  • Liability insurance (erhvervsansvarsforsikring)

Coverage applies only during official, approved shifts arranged by Copenhagen Staff.

12. TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT

As a zero-hour on-call worker:

  • There is no notice period

  • You may stop accepting shifts at any time

  • Copenhagen Staff may stop offering shifts at any time

  • Deactivation may occur without explanation

This is standard for temporary staffing in Denmark.

13. MISCONDUCT

You may be permanently removed if you:

  • Fail to show up for a shift

  • Repeatedly arrive late

  • Display unprofessional behavior

  • Damage the client’s reputation

  • Refuse instructions

  • Behave disrespectfully or aggressively

This decision is final.

14. CHANGES TO TERMS

Copenhagen Staff may update these Terms at any time.
You will be notified of changes.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
